Zoe was born in 1960 in Cambridge and lived her early years in a rural community. Loving nature and the countryside, she has a huge interest in growing plants, gardening, and wildlife with all its vibrant colours and shapes and has run a garden maintenance business in and around Cambridge over the last twenty years.
Creative from an early age, Zoe has drawn and painted all her life and has progressed through various mediums including watercolours, pen and ink and now works with acrylics on canvas in bold colours and simple shapes and forms. She loves to paint mountains, waterscapes and landscapes in her individual style and reflect the varying changing colours and architecture.
Having travelled extensively in Europe and UK, she is always being drawn to the more dramatic landscapes and architecture - Wales and Spain being very obvious influences in her recent work. Zoe spends a few weeks every year in Aberdovey which she travelled to and fell in love with 15 years ago, as she adores the scenery, pace of life and eclectic mix of people.
Zoe has sold her work locally over the years and completed numerous commissions as well as many creative projects for her and her family including sewing dresses, signwriting, painting figurines for a local lady, building her own patio with rustic walls and paving, and renovating her old house.
